“The wand chooses the wizard… it’s not always clear why.”

I always imagined that all wands looked roughly the same, maybe slightly different colors, but certainly not all those different, carefully constructed, unique, designs. I think of them as more utilitarian. Though I see the appeal of a unique design for every witch and wizard, it seems impractical, especially since they only cost seven galleons and a unicorn hair can cost up to 10 galleons. It doesn’t seem to be good business for Ollivander.

Whenever something/someone reminds me of an ex (this only applies to exes I did not split with amicably. Obviously.) and I instinctually go to facebook to pull up a picture (for example, so I can tell if a celebrity really looks like my ex or I’m crazy; not anything creepy), I always click the search box.

And then all of a sudden I pause. And there is this war in my brain where one side is all, “Don’t do it, Grace. DON’T YOU DO IT. You are no longer facebook friends for a reason.” And the other side is like, “No, it’s just a picture, you’ve seen it before anyway, this will not be emotionally damaging in any way.” And I hesitate, type a couple letters, backspace, no, type them again…

And sometimes I do it and sometimes I don’t. But either way, it makes me realize how completely crazy I am.

OH MY GOD, Obama has the basic risk assessment skills to realize he’s going to win out over his circus of opponents, AND the common sense to know that he can be more open after he wins his second term. WHAT AN EVIL MASTERMIND.

there was a prim though and she was absolutely adorable she looked about 13 and was blonde and had prim’s exact reaping outfit

i squealed when i saw her and said “oh, you’re CUTE!”

also there were about like approximately 100 katnisses, but they all looked the same so no one cared about them

You could tell they were Katniss because their HAIR was BRAIDED.
